Industrious Win for Green Brook Berets

It was a team effort from the Green Brook Berets, in all facets of the game to defeat the Vudoos. They would start with a goal by Milton Solis from Keith "The Fireball" Fimiani, and on the other end, Nuno Costa was excellent in net so far, using his shoulder to prevent Adam Kelly from roofing on him. Joe DeLorenzo courtesy of Scott Baumann was Green Brook's next goal, but the Vudoos would finally get on the board with Kelly getting a respite against Costa from Can Scerra and Gary Len for a late first period goal.

The Vudoos went into the intermission feeling like they could get some momentum, but it would not last; on the first shift of the period, Milton Solis scored from The Fireball for 3-1 Berets. Nep Ulloa would snipe for the Berets' next goal, and Christian Solis would score from Ryan Hansen, and it would be 5-1 going into the third period.

The Berets would go up another with a Christian Solis goal from Ulloa, Andrew Bzdula scored, and it was 7-1 and it would mostly become a non-event as neither etam really threatened from there. A late Ulloa hook would sit him, during which the Vudoos would score with Tom "Godzilla" Godon from George "The King" Dimock, but that power play goal would be the last of any kind here, as the Berets won 7-2.

A team win for the Berets, sucking the life out of the game from early on, the Buffalo Wild Wings Man of the Match Award would be split five ways with it going to Milton Solis and Christian Solis (each with 2G), Nep Ulloa (1G, 1A), Keith "The Fireball" Fimiani (2A), and Nuno Costa (2G against).
