Pterodactyls Start Slow, but Win Comfortably

The Vudoos went on the frontfoot with two goals by James Woods-Corwin, the first from Tom "Godzilla" Godon, the second unassisted on a snipe. Slowly the Pterodactyls crept back into it, and were rewarded when their deficit was a single goal due to Adam "Manhandle" Crandall flinging in from against the boards just inside the blue line. The Flying Fossils rode that momentum to a level scoreline when Jeff Leidner, their goalie, led Kyle Argent with a fantastic feed, with Argent doing the rest. Manhandle was assisted by Ethan Lim for a Pterodactyls lead, then would complete a hat trick unassisted when he used his big frame to power through the Vudoos. Argent poured in the next 'Dactyl goal for 5-2, but when Woods-Corwin completed his hat trick from Mark Schwanda, the Vudoos found another gear. Unfortunately, they would be unable to score during their pressure, and instead were hit at the back when another hat trick came, this one Argent's. No nonsense from Captain Tim "The Spider" Webster's team as they would suck the life out of the Vudoos with Manhandle Crandall from Argent for a 7-3 win with Crandall (4G) and Argent (3G, 1A), the Buffalo Wild Wings Men of the Match.
